Refund policy

In short: home visits are never paid for in advance, you can cancel any booking within 14 days, and if I ever let you down I'll put it right or refund you.

Home sessions, courses and other bookings

  • You can cancel within 14 days of booking, for any reason and without charge.
  • To cancel, ring 07500 511462, email enquiries@jameshayesconsulting.com, write to 58 Barnes Way, Herne Bay, Kent CT6 6RX, or use the cancellation form. A phone call is just as good as the form.
  • If you ask for your visit to happen within those 14 days, you can still cancel at no charge any time before the visit. Once the visit has been fully provided, the right to cancel it ends.
  • If you cancel part-way through a course, you pay only for the visits already given.
  • Need to change the date instead? There's no charge for rearranging.

Gift vouchers

  • If you change your mind, you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund.
  • After that, vouchers aren't refundable, but each one is valid for 12 months and can be passed on to someone else.

Digital products (such as the handbook)

  • At checkout, you're asked to agree that the download will be available to you straight away. Once you've started the download, the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies.
  • If you haven't started the download, you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund.
  • If the file won't open, is faulty or isn't as described, email me. I'll send you a working copy, and if that doesn't fix it, you'll get a refund.

Business sessions and workshops

  • You can rearrange for free with 24 hours' notice.
  • If you cancel before the session, you get a full refund.
  • If I have to cancel, you choose a new date or a full refund.

If something isn't right

If a session isn't carried out with reasonable care and skill, tell me and I'll put it right. If I can't, you'll get a full or partial refund, as is fair. This is on top of your legal rights, not instead of them.

How refunds are paid

I refund you within 14 days of agreeing a refund, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
