AI training for employees in Dubai and across the UAE
Our AI training for employees in Dubai runs live by video, using your team's real emails, reports and enquiries as the practice material. Book a 90-minute briefing for up to 30 people, or a two-session workshop for up to ten. Both cover what your staff may and may not put into AI tools under UAE data law.
From £295 (about $390)
Based in the UK, working by video with businesses in Dubai and the UAE. Dubai is three or four hours ahead of the UK.

Corporate AI training in the UAE: past the awareness stage
UAE staff are not new to this. Microsoft's AI Diffusion Report put AI use among the UAE's working-age population at 70.1% in the first quarter of 2026, against a global average of 17.8% (Khaleej Times, May 2026). In September 2026 Dubai Chambers opened agentic AI training tracks to more than 14,000 member companies through its new e-learning academy (WAM, 2026). Talent and training are also one of the eight objectives in the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031.
So the gap in most Dubai offices is rarely "what is ChatGPT". It is that people use personal accounts, paste in things they shouldn't, and each person has invented their own method. We fix that: one shared method, on company accounts, with clear limits.
A sample workshop agenda
Two half-days by video, Dubai time. We adjust the examples to your sector after a short call.
| Session | What happens | Staff leave with |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1, first hour | Which AI tool the company has approved, how to sign in with the work account, what the tool can see | Their work account set up and tested |
| Day 1, second hour | Writing clear requests: role, task, source material, format. Practice on a real email thread | Three saved prompts for their own job |
| Day 1, last part | The red list: data that never goes into an AI tool, and why | A one-page checklist |
| Day 2, first hour | Arabic and English: drafting, translating and checking. Where AI gets names and numbers wrong | A checking routine for bilingual documents |
| Day 2, second hour | Each person automates one weekly task, with help | One task done faster, written down |
| Day 2, last part | Questions, the company policy, who to ask later | A named internal contact |
A sample only. The IT set-up check happens about a week before day 1.
ChatGPT training for Dubai companies, or Copilot, or Gemini
We train on the tool you already pay for, rather than adding another subscription.
Microsoft 365
Copilot Chat
Microsoft says Copilot Chat comes at no extra cost with its business subscriptions, inside Word, Excel, Outlook and the other apps. The paid Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on also reads your company files and mail.
Google Workspace
Gemini
Gemini has been included in Workspace business plans since early 2025, with fewer features on the cheapest plan. We check what your plan includes before the session.
ChatGPT or Claude
Business plans
OpenAI says ChatGPT Business data is excluded from model training by default. Business plans also give admins control over who uses what, unlike personal accounts.
What staff must not paste in, under UAE law
Which law applies depends on where your company is licensed. Onshore it is Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (the PDPL), which requires consent for most processing and sets conditions on sending personal data across borders (UAE Government portal). DIFC firms follow DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020, which since 2023 has a Regulation 10 aimed at AI and other autonomous systems; ADGM firms follow the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021. Health data has its own federal law.
In a workshop we turn that into a short list staff can remember:
- Emirates ID, passport and visa numbers, salary and bank details
- Medical information about anyone, including colleagues
- Client names joined to anything confidential, unless the company has approved the tool for it
- Contracts, tenders and board papers in a personal AI account
We are not lawyers, and your legal adviser should confirm what applies to your licence.
How to tell the training worked
- Personal accounts go quietStaff use the company account. Your IT admin can usually see sign-ins a month later.
- A shared prompt library existsA team folder of prompts that worked on your real documents, not one person's notes.
- One named task per personEach attendee can say which weekly job they now do with AI, and roughly how long it took before.
- People ask before pastingQuestions about whether something is allowed are a good sign. Silence usually means guessing.
AI workshop for teams in Dubai: examples by sector
A brokerage team practises turning a listing into a bilingual description that matches the permit. A clinic front desk drafts aftercare reminders without touching clinical notes, as our clinics page explains. A trading company summarises a long supplier email chain and replies in English and Arabic. An Abu Dhabi contractor prepares tender paperwork, covered on our Abu Dhabi page.
If you need written rules first, book the AI policy so the session teaches your own policy. See also our UAE overview, or book a free 15-minute call.
Questions people ask
How much does AI training for employees cost in Dubai?
Our 90-minute staff briefing is £295 (about $390) for up to 30 people, and the two half-day workshop is £795 (about $1,050) for up to ten. Both are by video.
Is the training in Arabic?
Sessions are delivered in English. We include Arabic drafting and checking exercises, and recommend that a native speaker on your team reviews Arabic output.
