AI consultancy for Dubai and UAE businesses
Most UAE companies now say they want AI. Far fewer have a written plan for where it fits, what it costs to run, and which rules apply to the data it touches. We start with a fixed-price audit, then build on your own accounts so the work and the customer data stay with you.

Why Dubai firms are looking at AI now
The UAE added 250,000 companies in 2025 and ended the year with 1.4 million registered businesses, according to the Minister of Economy and Tourism (Entrepreneur Middle East, January 2026). In September 2026 Dubai Chambers launched agentic AI training for more than 14,000 member companies (Dubai Media Office, 2026).
Training explains what agents are. It doesn't connect one to your CRM, your WhatsApp number or your price list. That gap is where the edge sits: plenty of your competitors still answer a 10pm enquiry the next morning, and a firm that replies within a minute, in the customer's language, then passes a qualified lead to a person by breakfast, is simply easier to buy from.

| Residents who want a real person over a chatbot | 87% (same survey) | Communicate Online |

WhatsApp first, with a person close behind
In a YouGov poll for Zbooni, 85% of UAE residents said they would prefer WhatsApp for dealing with companies, and 87% wanted a real person rather than a chatbot (Communicate Online, February 2024). Speed on the familiar channel, yes; being trapped talking to software, no.
So the pattern we build is: answer fast, collect the facts, book the next step, hand over to a named member of staff. Meta charges per delivered template message, while replies inside the 24-hour customer service window are free (Meta for Developers, checked October 2026). Meta bars general-purpose AI chatbots from the business platform, but a company using AI for its own customers is fine.

The rules, in plain terms
Which data law applies depends on where you are licensed. Onshore, it is Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), which requires consent for most processing and sets conditions for sending data abroad (UAE Government portal). The DIFC has DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020, and ADGM its Data Protection Regulations 2021. Health data has a separate federal law, and RERA and the DHA regulate adverts in their sectors.
Our remote access from the UK can count as a cross-border transfer, so we write down the transfer basis with you, work inside your own WhatsApp Business, Google or Microsoft accounts and CRM, and you stay the controller. We work to UK GDPR standards. We are not lawyers, and this is not legal or tax advice.
Our prices, and what others charge in AED
By comparison, a Dubai development agency lists AED 4,900 to AED 59,000 (excluding VAT) for a chatbot build, with Meta fees, model usage and hosting on top. Checked October 2026.
Buying from the UAE
You can pay by card online in pounds sterling, with no UK VAT added because we are not VAT registered. A VAT-registered UAE company normally self-accounts for 5% under the reverse charge on imported services, so ask your accountant. For bank transfer, request an invoice, payable within 7 days. Ross Hayes, the founder, leads the work and builds software for his own businesses; first, book a free 15-minute video call.
We are also building the JHC Sector Agent, a WhatsApp agent on your own number that answers, qualifies, books and hands over. That one is still in build, with neither a price nor a launch date: join the early list.
Questions people ask
Can a UK company set up AI for a business in Dubai?
Yes, by video. We build inside your own accounts, document how remote access is handled under UAE data rules, and hand everything over to your team.
How much does an AI chatbot cost in Dubai?
Published agency prices we found in October 2026 run from about AED 4,900 to AED 59,000 for a build, plus Meta message fees. Our website assistant set-up starts at £495 (from $660), quoted after a free call.
Do UAE companies pay VAT on foreign consultancy services?
A VAT-registered UAE business usually self-accounts for 5% under the reverse charge. We add no UK VAT. Your accountant can confirm your position.
Does the UAE PDPL apply in the DIFC or ADGM?
No. Both free zones have their own data protection laws and Commissioners.
Where should a Dubai SME start with AI?
Usually with the slowest reply in the business, often WhatsApp or portal enquiries. The audit maps that and the next few jobs, with costs, before anything is built.
