AI consultancy for Nigerian businesses
Your customers already message you on WhatsApp, often late at night, and your staff already paste work into free AI tools. We are a UK consultancy that sets AI up properly on your own accounts, by video, at fixed prices. Below: the Nigerian rules, how to pay from Nigeria, and what we would set up first.
From £395 (about $520)
Based in the UK, working by video with businesses in Nigeria. Lagos is on UK time in winter and one hour ahead in summer.
Why AI fits Nigerian businesses now
New firms are forming fast. The Corporate Affairs Commission said in February 2026 that it handles close to 10,000 business registration requests a day, after putting AI into its own services (Nairametrics, February 2026). In Q3 2025 insurance grew 20.78% and financial institutions 19.46%, among the fastest of any sector (Nairametrics, from NBS data).
Most of that growth runs through a phone. WhatsApp was mentioned by more than 95% of Nigerian internet users aged 16 and over in Q3 2024 (Statista), so enquiries, follow-ups and payment reminders all land in one chat app, usually answered by a person typing.
That is where the edge is. A firm that replies in two minutes at 10pm, with the right price list and a clear next step, looks very different from one that replies the next afternoon.

The rules, in one plain section
Data protection. The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 is enforced by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Its General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) took effect on 19 September 2025. Fines for a data controller of major importance can reach ₦10 million or 2% of annual gross revenue, whichever is higher.
Sending data abroad. Sections 41 to 43 of the Act allow transfers outside Nigeria only with adequate protection or another recognised basis, and our remote access from the UK can count as one. We work inside your own accounts, so you stay the controller, and we document the transfer basis with you before we start.
Decisions about people. Section 37 restricts decisions made solely by automated means with significant effects. So AI drafts, sorts and reminds, and a person decides on credit, claims and money.
Sector rules. Digital lenders answer to the FCCPC, insurers to NAICOM, Lagos property firms to LASRERA; our sector pages cover each. This is not legal advice.

How to buy from Nigeria
-
A free 15-minute call
By video, to check whether AI is worth it for your firm. If it isn't, we will say so. -
An invoice in pounds
You can pay online by card in pounds sterling, or ask for an invoice and pay it by card or international bank transfer within 7 days. Dollar limits on naira cards vary by bank and changed several times in 2026, so a transfer is often the steadier route for larger sums. -
Tax on your side
We are not UK VAT registered, so no UK VAT is added. Nigerian VAT on imported services may apply to you: ask your accountant.

Questions people ask
Can a UK company set up AI for a business in Nigeria?
Yes, by video, inside your own accounts. Because remote access from the UK can count as a transfer under the NDPA, we document the transfer basis with you.
How much does an AI consultant cost in Nigeria?
Our prices are fixed and published: the AI Kick-Start is £395 (about $520) and the full opportunity audit is £995 (about $1,320). Larger builds are quoted in writing before you commit.
Is it legal to use ChatGPT with customer data in Nigeria?
The NDPA does not ban AI tools, but you need a lawful basis, security and care with transfers abroad. Keep customer records out of free consumer accounts.
