AI for clinics and aesthetic centres in Dubai
Your front desk answers the same Instagram questions all day: how much, is it painful, any slots on Thursday. We build assistants that draft those replies in Arabic and English, book and remind, and pass every clinical question to a clinician. Admin only, never medical advice.
From £495 (about $660)
Based in the UK, working by video with businesses in Dubai and the UAE. Dubai is three or four hours ahead of the UK.
A crowded, growing market
The Dubai Health Authority licensed about 5,800 healthcare facilities in 2025, up from 5,340 the year before, and the private sector workforce passed 69,400 people (Dubai Media Office, February 2026). Visitors add to local demand: DHA counted more than 691,000 health tourists in 2023, spending over AED 1.03 billion, with dermatology among the most requested services (WAM, 2024).
In aesthetics the first contact is usually a message, not a phone call. The clinic that answers a 9pm DM politely, with a real price range and two appointment options, gets the consultation. That is the edge worth building, as long as the replies stay on the right side of DHA rules.
Front-desk jobs AI handles well
- Price list questionsAnswers from your approved price list only, with "from" prices and a note that the doctor confirms the plan at consultation.
- Booking and reschedulingOffers slots from your clinic system and confirms in the language the client wrote in.
- Reminders and no-showsA reminder the day before, a confirm-or-move link, and a short rebooking message after a missed slot.
- Pre and aftercare sheetsSends the sheet your doctors approved for that treatment, word for word, not a rewritten version.
- Instagram DM triageSorts DMs into bookings, price questions, complaints and clinical questions, and routes each one.
- Staff draftingInside your team's AI tool, assistants that draft replies, translate English notes to Arabic and summarise long threads.
DHA advertising rules apply to replies too
In September 2026 the DHA set out standards for health advertising on social media by licensed facilities and professionals. Absolute or exaggerated claims are out, including words such as "safest", "miraculous", "100%", "has no side effects" and "immediate results"; claims about results need evidence, and surgical or invasive procedures need a clearly visible risk warning (Khaleej Times, 2026).
AI writing tools reach for exactly that kind of language unless told not to. We give the assistant your clinic's banned-word list, block any promise of results, and make it add the risk line you approve for invasive treatments. If you are unsure whether a campaign needs DHA approval before it runs, check with the DHA or your licensing adviser before publishing.
UAE health data rules that shape the set-up
| Rule | What it says | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Federal Law No. 2 of 2019, Article 13 | Health data about services provided in the UAE may not be stored, processed or transferred outside the UAE unless a health authority approves it | Keep clinical notes and records out of the AI; booking data stays in your clinic system |
| Same law, Article 20 | Health data must be kept for at least 25 years from the last procedure | Records stay in your clinic system, not in chat tools |
| Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL) | Consent and transfer conditions for other personal data, such as marketing contacts | Consent captured before reminders and offers |
| Meta messaging windows | Automated Instagram replies within 24 hours of the client's last message; a human agent tag allows replies up to 7 days | Late follow-ups go to a person |

Why the tool choice matters
Article 13 is the reason we don't paste client histories into a general AI chat tool. A question like "I had filler in March, can I have more?" contains health data. The assistant's job is to recognise it, stop, and hand it to a clinician or coordinator inside your clinic's own system.
We go through the localisation rule and its exceptions with you before choosing tools; your lawyer may want to confirm your position (see Latham & Watkins on the health data law). Our remote access from the UK is set up so the transfer basis is documented, and you stay the controller of your client data.
Worked example: an Instagram DM to a booked consultation
-
The message
At 21:15 a client writes in Arabic: how much is lip filler, and will it look natural? -
The reply
In Arabic, the assistant gives the "from" price on your list and explains that the doctor plans treatment at a consultation. Nothing about results. -
The offer
Two consultation slots this week, with the consultation fee as listed. -
The booking
The client picks Wednesday at 17:00. The booking goes into your clinic system and a confirmation goes out. -
The reminder
Tuesday evening, a reminder with the address, parking note and your approved pre-consultation sheet. -
The handover
Any medical question in the thread is flagged for the coordinator, who replies personally.
Prices
Prices in pounds sterling, payable by card online. No UK VAT is added; ask your accountant about the UAE reverse charge. Checked October 2026.
A Clinic edition WhatsApp agent is in build
The JHC Sector Agent Clinic edition will run on your own WhatsApp Business number to answer, book and send a payment link for deposits where your provider supports it, then hand over to staff. It is in build: no price, no launch date. Read more on our UAE page, or see how we approach Dubai brokerages.
Questions people ask
Is it legal to use AI with patient data in Dubai?
Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 restricts storing or processing health data outside the UAE without health authority approval. We keep clinical data out of the AI and in your clinic system. Check your position with a lawyer.
Can an AI receptionist answer in Arabic?
Yes. Replies are drafted in Arabic or English to match the client, and a native speaker on your team approves the templates before launch.
Can AI reply to Instagram DMs automatically for a clinic?
Yes, within Meta's 24-hour window after the client's last message. Later replies need a person, which also suits anything clinical.
How much does a WhatsApp booking bot cost for a UAE clinic?
Our staff assistants are £495 (about $660) and automations start from £395 (from $520). Meta charges per template message, and those fees vary by country.
Can a UK company set up AI for a Dubai clinic?
Yes, entirely by video, inside your own accounts. Every project starts with a free 15-minute call.
