AI consultancy for South African businesses
Most South African owners have tried an AI tool. Far fewer have it doing real work: replying to enquiries, drafting quotes, keeping records tidy. We set that up on your own accounts, by video from the UK, at a fixed price agreed before you commit, with POPIA in mind from the first call.
From £395 (about $520)

Why this is a good moment to get ahead
The CIPC registered 542,165 companies and co-operatives in 2025, about 45,000 more than the year before. Plenty of that new competition is small and quick on WhatsApp.
Owners are experimenting. In Xero's 2026 survey just over half of small firms used AI every day or week, yet 56% wanted more help seeing how it fits their own operations.
That second step is the edge. If rivals still type each reply by hand after hours, a business whose enquiries are answered, sorted and logged properly feels faster to customers, without anyone working later.
POPIA in one plain section
The Information Regulator enforces the Protection of Personal Information Act. Five parts matter most when AI touches customer data:
- Minimum detail. Give an AI tool only what the task needs. A quote request needs a name, the job and a budget, not an ID number.
- Direct marketing. Section 69 requires consent for marketing by WhatsApp, SMS or email, with a narrow exception for existing customers.
- Automated decisions. Section 71 limits decisions with real consequences, such as credit or tenancy, made solely by automated profiling. Our builds hand those to a person.
- Special personal information. Health, religion, biometrics and criminal records carry extra conditions from section 26.
- Transfers abroad. Section 72 covers sending personal information outside South Africa. Our logging in from the UK can count, so we agree and document the transfer basis with you before touching live data.
We build inside your own WhatsApp Business, Google or Microsoft accounts and CRM, so records stay in your systems and you remain the responsible party. A plain summary, not legal advice.

Paying from South Africa
You can pay online by card in pounds sterling, or work by invoice: request one here and pay by international bank transfer within 7 days. Keep the invoice handy in case your bank asks for a supporting document.
We're not VAT registered, so no UK VAT is added. South African VAT on imported services may still apply to your business; check with your accountant. Every project starts with a free 15-minute video call, and our international page explains how we work abroad.
Our own WhatsApp agent for property and clinic enquiries, the JHC Sector Agent, is in build. It will run on your business number and hand over to a person. No price or date yet; join the early list.

Questions people ask
Can a UK company do AI work for a South African business under POPIA?
Yes, with the section 72 transfer basis agreed and written down first. We work inside your own accounts so records stay in your systems.
How do we pay a UK consultant from South Africa?
By card online, or against our invoice by card or international bank transfer, due within 7 days.
Do we pay VAT on your fees?
No UK VAT is added. Your business may need to account for South African VAT on imported services, so ask your accountant.
Can you build a WhatsApp chatbot for our business?
Today we build quoted automations and website assistants on established tools, or plan a WhatsApp set-up in the audit. Our own WhatsApp agent is in build.
Will it work in Afrikaans or isiZulu?
The main AI tools write in both, with varying polish. We work in English, so a fluent member of your team checks anything customer-facing before it goes out.
